HUTTS, Fred James

Fred James Hutts, 66, died at 12:20 pm. Thursday Jan 5, 1956 at St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient five days. He was a carman at the C & EI RR shops in Danville since 1922. He worked until Dec 27 when he became ill. Mr. Hutts was born June 22, 1889, near Steam Corner in Fountain County, son of Daniel and Catherine Newman Hutts. He married Addie W. Jones Dec 24, 1907. Surviving are a wife; a son, Paul of Covington; a sister, Mrs. Belle Williams of Covington. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Daniel and a brother. Mr. Hutts was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He was a resident of Lebanon, Ind from 1912 to 1922; moved to Danville in 1922 where he resided until 1933; then moved to Cates and in '43 moved to Covington.
